Stressing!

Good day people of the internet,

Is it possible to lose hope of finding a job in Durban, South Africa?

I have studied for 5 long years, and I am unable to find a job?

Can someone.....
anyone....Give me some input on my situation?

Take Care All

  1. It's never easy to find a job, Mosh.
    Here's some advice:
-Don't expect to find one straight away because someone else did. People have ways of getting their foot in the door.
-Don't think that you're worthless because you weren't chosen for something you applied to. The company might have been looking for something really specific and/or may have not been totally fair in their choice. (Yeah, big surprise. It happens almost all the time.)
-Most importantly: Don't bother applying everywhere quickly and expecting someone to take you. Instead, find a way to DIRECTLY apply to companies (eg. If you have an aunty's cousin's dog's goldfish's sister that works at Company X and she gives your CV directly to her manager, even if she doesn't know you from a bar of soap, you have a way better chance of getting noticed than if you made 50 online applications to them.)

    Good luck!
    You'll be fine.
Be positive and don't give up!
